Many fans say KATSEYE is not
considered a K-pop group, and instead are a global girl group. The members of KATSEYE are from all around the globe and they primarily sing in English, unlike K-pop artists who are based in Korea and sing in Korean.
KATSEYE can easily be confused for a K-pop group, though. They're signed to HYBE Entertainment, the label that's known for giving BTS their start. The group members also went through a rigorous K-pop training program to learn how to perform.
