One of the best ways to save money at Starbucks is bringing your own reusable cup for your drink. Every time you bring in your own cup, you get $0.10 off of your order. Also, if you're getting a cold drink, ask for "no ice" or "light ice" so they fill your cup with more of your favorite drink.

Skip the extras, too, like extra syrup or shots of espresso and foam, drizzles, or sprinkles.

yeah, ask for no ice and just add your own at home - also, my go-to drink is their ice tea, but they dilute it in the store, so ask if they can not water it down for you, and then you can add more water at home yourself and get 2x or 3x the tea for the same price. LOVE their tea.

Don't forget to sign up for a Starbucks account to scan in store and check which drinks have special deals. Every time you get something at Starbucks, you earn stars that you can use for free flavors or even a free drink! You can even get free refills if you're a rewards member.

Yes to the Starbucks rewards comment! Also, if you bring in your own cup, you save a few cents, which is cool, but the real benefit is they give you like 25 stars for using your own cup, which will help you save money over time. (Plus, it's just good for the environment!)

You should order a "Short" instead of a Tall drink. It's a little bit smaller and cheaper, but you'll still get the same amount of espresso. They just add less milk.

when my friends and i order we get one or two trentas, no ice, and then at the window we ask for tall/grande cups of ice and then just split up the drinks. sounds like a hassle, but it's really simple and a great way to save a few bucks

I get iced tea at Starbucks but they dilute it, so I always ask for no water and no ice to give me the most tea possible. Then I go home and dilute it myself. You get more bang for your buck!

If the drink is not to your liking, then don't be hesitant to ask the baristas to change it for you. But always be polite!

Hack: I always ask for no ice in my Refresher because that way you get more to drink! I sometimes go home and add ice if I want to but it's not like the drink isn't cold enough on its own.

If you order off the Secret Menu don't be "that customer," do it when the place isn't very busy so as to not make things harder for the baristas.
