Today, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, pop icon Taylor Swift announced via Instagram that she’s engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce! ❤️💍🥂🍾✨The post is captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨” and features 5 photos of Swift and Kelce showing their affection for one another in a romantic rose garden.

The couple has been together for two years, and Kelce popped the question with a gorgeous old-mine brilliant-cut diamond ring he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry in New York City, according to ABC . A jewelry expert estimates that the ring is about 8 carats and costs $550,000, according to Fortune .

The news comes just days after Swift announced the release of her 12th album Life of a Showgirl (more details on that here ) and near the end of the NFL pre-season, with Kelce playing tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. These two sure have a lot to celebrate!

Does putting cucumber slices on your eyes work?
Okay, here’s the deal. I was at a spa last week with my family and my mom was doing one of those cucumber-over-the-eyes face mask things. The thought sort of blossomed in my head, what are those cucumbers even for? I asked the spa worker when she came in what the cucumbers were for but her answer sounded kind of empty and nonsensical. My mom didn’t know what the cucumbers do, either. I Googled it, but the results are kind of all over the place. What say you, wikiHow? What are the cucumbers for? Do they actually do anything or is just vibes?

What does it mean if I keep dreaming about someone?
So I bumped into somebody last week and thought nothing of it, and boom, there they were in my dreams the last few nights. They really haven't been on my mind while I'm awake, but it's weird that they keep showing up while I'm dreaming, right? I'm a little freaked out tbh. Why is this specific person all of a sudden coming into my dreams and what does it mean?
