The Office is hilarious and a blast to watch (not that we needed to tell you that), but did you know there are some behind-the-scenes secrets of the show that are basically just as funny and interesting? As a fan of the show, you’ll love these fun facts about The Office . Next time there’s an awkward silence at a party, try breaking out one of these cool behind-the-scenes facts to share:
- The computers throughout the office had internet access, meaning the cast of the show could actually surf the web when they were in the background of shots.
- John Krasinski (the actor who played Jim) filmed some of the footage used in the opening credits of the show.
- Speaking of the opening of the show, the cast got to vote on which of four options they wanted for the opening theme song. The iconic opening song we all know and love received the most votes.
- Jenna Fischer (the actor who played Pam) worked as a telephone psychic before starring on The Office .
- During season 3, John Krasinski was actually wearing a wig the whole time since he shaved his head for another role.
