The Barbie Characters: Who Are They?

The groundbreaking 2023 film Barbie is full of lovable and goofy characters. From the Stereotypical Barbie we all know and love to lesser-known figures like Allan (whose toy was discontinued in 1966), the movie is jam-packed with Barbie and Mattel history. But who are these characters, and why are they important? Take a look at this breakdown of the characters featured in this quiz:

  • Writer Barbie is the creative Barbie. Played by Alexandra Shipp in the movie, Writer Barbie is destined to be an author or journalist. She’s incredibly creative and ambitious and will stop at nothing to help her friends.
