This wikiHow will teach you how to add birthdays to your Google Calendar. You can either easily sync them from your Google Contacts, or you can add them manually by creating an event for each birthday. Keep reading to learn more.

Quick Guide to Google Calendar Birthdays

Open Google Calendar and open the main menu (side pane). Make sure the "Birthdays" checkbox is checked. Birthdays are automatically synced from your contacts, so edit the person's birthday in your contacts to alter it on the calendar.

    Click or tap the + Create button. You'll find this either in the top left corner of your web browser or in the lower right corner of your phone or tablet screen.

No, if you delete a birthday event that synced from your Google Contacts into Google Calendar, it won't be deleted in your contacts. However, if you want that birthday event back in your calendar, you'll have to add it manually.
