    • When you turn this option off, your phone will send messages separately to each person in a group message, and receive individual replies.

    Open your messaging app, then navigate to the settings. In there, you should see a setting for receiving MMS or multimedia messages. Turn off auto-retrieve or auto-download. Another thing that you can do is to block the sender completely if it's a spam message.
