This can be done whether or not the message has been opened. You can also adjust your Chat Delete options to make chats disappear more quickly. This wikiHow will show you how to delete and unsend a Snap or message on Snapchat using your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

Unsending a Snap or Chat

You can't unsend a Snap, but you can delete it from the chat log. To delete a Snap, open a conversation. Tap and hold the Snap or chat message, then tap Delete twice. Once you delete a Snap, the recipient will only see a message confirming you deleted it, not its contents.
