  1. If you want to browse and shop Amazon in a different region but aren't actually moving there, you can easily change your country in the Amazon mobile app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad.
    • This is a good option if you want to buy something from another country's version of Amazon (e.g., Amazon UK) or buy something for someone who lives in another country without paying extra shipping fees.
  2. You'll then see your current country and language settings.

  4. Now that you've changed your country, the Amazon app will display the selected country's Amazon store.
    • You may be prompted to sign in again.
    • All prices will be shown in the selected country's official currency.
    • In most cases, the delivery address must match your selected country. Some sellers may ship internationally, but you may only be able to have a product shipped from another country's Amazon store to an address in that country.
  5. By default, you will see "Deliver to (your current country)" at the top of Amazon. This is based on your selected delivery address. If you want an item delivered to the selected country, you'll need to add a different delivery address and switch to it in the app.
    • Tap the profile icon at the bottom.

Changing Your Location for Prime Video

  1. If you're traveling and want to watch movies or shows available through your Amazon Prime subscription, you may find that some titles available in your home country may not be watchable in foreign countries. To fix this, you'll need to make Amazon think you're watching from an IP address in your home country.
    • There are many VPN services to choose from, and many even have free trials. Some of the most popular and reputable options with servers in many countries are Mullvad, ProtonVPN, SurfShark, and Windscribe.
    • Once you've selected a VPN, create your account and follow the service's instructions for installation and setup. You can then connect to the VPN in the selected country and stream your favorite shows and movies from home.
    • Using a VPN to watch Prime Video in a different country may violate Amazon's terms of service and copyright laws.
    • While you are connected to a VPN using a server in another country, you're effectively changing your location in your web browser and for other apps. This means every website you visit or app you use will think you're in your home country while the VPN is on.
