While the Nutribullet is relatively easy to clean, there are particular methods you should use when doing so. With a little soap and effort, you can ensure that food and leftover material is cleared away for the next time you need to blend. By cleaning the cup, blades, and power base, you can ensure that you're blending your food with a clean and sanitized piece of equipment.

Unscrew the blade from the cup. If the blade is still attached to the cup portion, unscrew it from the base before washing it. Set your Nutribullet parts on a counter and unplug the power base.

Wash the cup by hand or put it in the top rack of a dishwasher. The safest way to wash the cup of your Nutribullet is by hand. Run it under warm water and use a sponge and dish soap to thoroughly wash out the interior and exterior of the mixing cup. You can also put the cup on the top rack of your dishwasher if you are using a normal wash cycle.
- Do not use the sanitize cycle if you are washing your cup in the dishwasher.
- Do not submerge portions of your Nutribullet into boiling water.

Wash the blade portion with soap and water. It's important that you wash the blade portion by hand. Use a sponge and two drops of dish soap to get under the blades and remove any built up food that's been caught under the blades. Keep your hands and fingers away from the sharp edge to prevent cutting yourself.

Fill the cup with water and soap. Fill the cup 2/3 of the way with warm water. After the Nutribullet's cup has water, add two drops of dishwashing liquid into the cup.

This deep cleaning method should be used whenever there is stubborn food or liquid buildup in your cup, or if you forgot to wash out food and it's gone bad while in the cup.
