Turn your PlayStation 4 DualShock controller off. If the light indicator is on, the controller is already on and connected to a different device.

Toggle on "Bluetooth". The switch will turn blue.

Using a Wired Connection

Connect the USB end to your computer. To use a wired connection with your PS4 controller, you'll need a micro USB to USB cable. If you don't have the wire it came with, make sure to get a replacement from PlayStation. Some third-party cables may not be compatible with the controller.
