If you’re a Zoom user and need to contact the company, there are a few ways you can get in touch. Contacting Zoom differs depending on what kind of account you have, so you can try out a few different methods to get your questions answered as fast as possible. Or, you can check their website to see if you can answer your question on your own.

Getting in Touch With Zoom Support

To contact Zoom you can use their chatbot, phone number, request form, or email. Which one to use depends on a few things—namely what type of customer you are and how fast you need help. Free users can use the chatbot, and pro users can use the request form. Zoom's support phone number is reserved for business owners.

General Support

  1. If you have a question and you need answers right away, start an instant message with Zoom’s chatbot on the Zoom website. You’ll be chatting with a computer, not an actual person, so ask it short, direct questions to get the most benefit. You can use this feature if you have a free account, a licensed/pro account, or a business account. [1]
  2. This will connect you to the San Jose headquarters. Zoom customer support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including major holidays, but you can only call for support if you’re a business owner or administration. Other headquarter offices can be reached at: [2]

  3. If you’re having problems with your account and you need help quickly, you can submit a request to Zoom online. Fill out your request type (billing, technical support, or reporting abuse), then write a brief description of your issue. If you have a free account, you won’t be able to use this feature, unfortunately. [3]
    • You can fill out the support form by visiting https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/requests/new .
    • You can classify your report from 1-4, 1 being highest priority and 4 being lowest priority. Priority 1s get answered within 1 hour, priority 2s get answered within 4 hours, and priority 3s and 4s get answered within 24 hours.
  4. If you’d like to email Zoom instead, you can send them a message from your personal email account. Make sure you give them your Zoom ID and describe the problem as accurately as possible. You can email Zoom no matter what kind of account you have. [4]
    • The emails are sent to one of the Zoom headquarters.
    • Zoom doesn’t specify how long it takes them to reply to emails. You should try filling out a support request form first, then send an email as well.
    • If you are reporting abuse, you’ll do it by sending Zoom an email. Be sure to include the meeting ID, the host, the date and time, and the type of abuse that happened. [5]
  5. If you have a technical support question about Zoom’s services, you may be able to find your answer in one of Zoom’s online guides or tutorials. Log into your account, then type your question into the search bar or scroll through the topics on Zoom’s support page to find what you’re looking for. [6]
