Deleting a Message on the Mobile App

  1. Open the conversation with the message you want to delete.
  2. Press and hold on the message.
  3. Tap Delete for you .
  4. Select the chats you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete for you at the bottom of the screen.

  1. You can't delete messages from your browser, so make sure you're using the mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
    • Open your direct message inbox by tapping the paper airplane or messenger icon in the top right corner of your screen. Then tap a conversation that has messages you want to delete.
    • Some accounts will not have this option and unsending will be the only method to get rid of a message.

  1. Do this by tapping the paper airplane or messenger icon in the top right corner of your screen. You'll see a list of all the messages on your account.
    • Deleting entire chats only deletes them for you; others in the conversation can still see the chat.
  2. If you're using a web browser, open the conversation and click the circled "i" icon to open a side panel.
