Walmart allows you to delete your Walmart account both in the app and over the phone—neither of which take a long time to do. We’ll walk you through both options (along with how to cancel a Walmart+ membership, if you so desire), so you can pull the plug on your Walmart account as soon as possible. Because you'll need the Android or iPhone app to delete your account, you won't be able to use a computer.

Quick Steps

  1. Open the Walmart mobile app.
  2. Tap on the Account icon in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Scroll down and hit Delete Account .
  4. Follow the app’s directions to complete the deletion process.

Choose “Manage Membership,” followed by “Cancel Membership.” Walmart will give you a “Remind Me Later” option, in which their system shoots you a cancellation reminder 3 days before your Walmart+ membership would be canceled.
