How do I enable JavaScript?

  • Chrome on Android: Go to â‹® > Settings > Site settings > JavaScript and tap the switch.
  • Chrome on a computer: Go to â‹® > Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings to turn on JavaScript.
  • Safari on iPhone: In the Settings app, go to Apps > Safari > Advanced , and turn on JavaScript.
  • Safari for Mac: Click the Safari menu, go to Settings > Security , and tap Enable JavaScript .

Chrome on Android

    • If you're still getting JavaScript errors in Firefox, disable any third-party privacy plugins that could be blocking JavaScript. Some of the more popular JavaScript-blocking extensions include "NoScript", "Ghostery," and "Script Blocker Ultimate." [6]
    • If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall Firefox to restore all of the default settings. Because JavaScript is a foundation of the Firefox browser, reinstalling should restore its functionality.

    • If you're using Edge on your iPhone or iPad, you cannot enable or disable JavaScript–it's on by default and stays on.
