Download Article
Many long-time fans of Pokemon know and love Jigglypuff, a pink, round Pokemon known for putting other Pokemon (and people) to sleep with its song. Jigglypuff is one of the Pokemon included in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and is relatively easy to find—but how exactly do you get your Jigglypuff to evolve into Wigglytuff? Thankfully the method is pretty simple, and involves using a Moon Stone. In this article we'll teach you where to find Jigglypuff and how to evolve it into a Wigglytuff with a Moon Stone.
Things You Should Know
- Jigglypuff can be found a few places in Paldea, or you can get one by evolving an Igglybuff with high friendship.
- Wigglytuff can be obtained by giving your Jigglypuff a Moon Stone.
- There's no level requirement to evolve Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff, so you can evolve it right away if you like.
Steps
Section 1 of 2:
Evolving Jigglypuff
-
Obtain a Moon Stone. Many Pokemon evolve with evolutionary stones, but Jigglypuff is the only Pokemon in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet base game that evolves with a Moon Stone. (Note that if you have the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, you will be able to find a Clefairy that evolves into a Clefable with a Moon Stone. [1] X Research source )
- Moon Stones can be obtained from the Porto Marinada auction, the Asado Desert as sparkling overworld items, or a Pokemon with the ability Pickup. You can also find them as hidden items in South Province Area Three and West Province Area Two. The reward for catching 210 Pokemon in the Paldea Pokedex is a Moon Stone. [2] X Research source
-
Use the Moon Stone on your Jigglypuff. Your Jigglypuff can be any level and you can do this at any time of day. Once you use the Moon Stone, your Jigglypuff will evolve into a Wigglytuff. [3] X Research source
- Wigglytuff can also be caught in North Province Area One very rarely. You can also find them in 4-star Tera Raid Battles. [4] X Research source
