Want to see if your city is hosting a special event? You can find future, current, and past events, as well as events you've been invited to, within the Events tab of your Facebook account. This wikiHow will show you how to find events on Facebook using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

    By default, you'll see the Top events listed below.
    • Tap a category at the top to filter your search, such as: Top , Local , This week , Friends , Groups , or Following .
    • To add a location, tap Near me and enter a location .
    • To add a date, tap Any date and enter a date.
    • To search for specific events using keywords, tap the magnifying glass icon.

    If you find an event you're interested in, you can tap Interested to let others know you may come, or tap Going to confirm.
    • To add an event to your calendar, tap ••• next to the event, and then tap Add to Calendar .

    Click Your Events to see all the events you've been invited to, hosting, interested in, or past events.
    • Click a category at the top to filter your search, such as: Top , Friends , or Following .
    • To add a location, click My location and enter a location.
    • To add a date, click Any date and select a date.
    • To search for specific events using keywords, click the search field at the top-left corner.
    • You can also create a new event .
