Method 1 of 6:

Water Chests

Download Article
  1. You'll need okay armor (preferably cactus) and, if you're not as experienced, have an item which will help you out (cheapest is wood platforms).
  2. You should find an ocean. (Be careful of the Corruption/Crimson!)

  3. Once you're down there, make a mad dash! just select "Loot All" for all the chests you can find then rush back to surface. Now you can take a look at all your goodies!

Skyware Chests

  1. Be sure to bring many, as it wears out in 3 minutes! You can use a Gravity Globe, but what's the point of that if you've already beaten the Moon Lord?
  2. Press Up on your keyboard and when you reach space, rapidly tap Up.
  3. Try to land lightly, or you know what's going to happen!
  4. Shut the door, or else the harpies will shoot you!

Method 3 of 6:

Ivy Chests

Download Article
  1. This is indicated by lime green grass, dark brown dirt, mahogany trees, and those pesky Jungle Slimes.
  2. If you're lucky enough, there will be some ivy chests in areas shaded by blocks.
  3. If you're not that desperate skip the upcoming parts of this section.
  4. You can find a Lihzard Temple, providing even more loot, and you don't even need the Temple Key!

Method 6 of 6:

Shadow Chest

Download Article
  1. It's in the Dungeon, from chests.
  2. I greatly recommend Shadow/Crimson armor for melee users, Jungle Armor for magic users, and Necro Armor for ranged.
  3. They contain the chest AND pots, giving extra loot.
  4. The Underworld is a very dangerous place, and if you stay for much longer, you'll probably get killed...

  • Question
How do I find a meteorite?
    Community Answer
To find a meteorite, you have to first summon it. Travel to the crash site and make sure you have a buddy to help fight off the meteorite guardians. You'll need good armor and health before you go, and you will have to have a drill or a gold pickaxe.
  • Question
How rare is the lizard temple?
    Community Answer
It's not rare at all, as it generates every time you make a new world. You might need some to do some exploring to find it though!
  • Question
Is it rare to find a hive?
    Community Answer
A hive isn't nearly as rare as, say, the lizard temple, as there are often multiple per world. Just dig around underground and hives can be found relatively easily. They are quite noticeable as the hive block is different from any other block you find in the jungle. Just be careful fighting the queen bee; it's surprisingly easy to summon her even when you don't mean to.

      Tips

      • While looking underground, you can find pots, chests, and Crimson Hearts/Shadow Orbs. They give good loot as well!
      • Certain enemies drop good loot as well, so it's worth sticking around your hunting area for a while.
      • If you find some random loot or useless things, don't throw them into lava! Certain NPCs allow you to sell items, and you may need them to craft better things from your own items!

      Warnings

      • Beware playing on Mediumcore and Hardcore, as if you die, you lose every single piece of your loot! On Expert, you will only drop your money, but enemies will steal it.
