This wikiHow teaches you how to find your past bios on Instagram using a computer, phone, or tablet. A bio is the text area underneath your username where you can share a brief description about yourself.

Open Instagram on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. It's the orange, purple, and yellow icon with a white camera, and you'll usually find it on your home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching.

Tap Settings on the menu.

Tap Security . It's the 5th option down.

Tap Access Data . It's the 1st option under Data and History.

Tap View All under "Former bio texts." This is the 3rd option in the "Profile Info" section.

View your former bios. To see additional bios, tap View More .
- If you want to reuse one of your old bios, follow these steps:
- Tap and hold the text to select the bio, and then tap Copy .
- Return to your profile and tap Edit profile .
- Tap and hold in the "Bio" field and select Paste when it appears.

Scroll down to view your former bios. If you want to reuse one of the bios that appear on this screen, follow these steps:
- Highlight the bio text.
- Right-click the highlighted area and select Copy .
- Return to your profile and click Edit Profile .
- Right-click the "Bio" field and select Paste .
