Mosquito nets are crucial items for camping trips and other outdoor activities, as they keep pesky insects from invading your space. Zip up all openings on the mosquito net. Check your net and make sure all of the openings are completely zipped before you fold your net. There are usually two openings on single and double-bed mosquito nets, but there may be more. [1] X Research source

Use your left hand to pinch the middle of the top of the net and lift up. While lifting up on the net, grab the corner of the net that is closest to you with your right hand. Push this corner away from you and into the corner directly adjacent it.

Fold the two remaining sections directly on top of one another. Grab the left section of the net with your left hand and the right section with your right hand. Bring them together and line up the edges.
- All four sides of the net should now be neatly stacked on top of one another.

Hold the net with both hands at the zipper line. Hold the left side of the net with your left hand, and the right side with your right hand, directly on each side of the zipper line. If you don't hold the net in the right place, it may not fold properly.

Squeeze both sides of the net toward each other. Push inward with both hands to bring the edges as close together as possible. As you squeeze, push the net down and away from you. Bring the net to the ground and position the section you are squeezing directly in the middle of the rest of the net.

Grab the outer edge of the leftmost section with your left hand. Continue to hold the pinched section with your right hand. Pull the section in your left hand over and directly on top of the remaining section. Line up the edges the best you can.
- Use your knee or foot to hold the other section in place while you fold.

- You should now have three equal rings stacked directly on top of each other.

Slip the folded net into an appropriate carrying case. Place a thick, rubber band around the mosquito net. Most mosquito nets are sold with a case and a rubber band, but you can easily purchase them at most outdoors stores.
- Make sure your rubber band is thick enough that it doesn’t snap.
- If the rubber band won’t stretch enough to completely fit over the net, don’t push it. You could damage your net if you force it on. [6] X Research source

Hold the top, round section of the mosquito net with both hands. Place your left hand on one side and your right hand on the other side. Hold the round section of the net parallel to the ground. [7] X Research source

Twist the left side of the net back towards you. Complete a single full rotation. Your left hand is the only thing that should move.

Place one hand in front of the hanging part of the net. Hold the folded rings with the other hand. Pull the hanging section back under the rings and toward you. Wrap the net up and over the back of the rings.

Use a thick rubber band to keep the net folded. The net will come unraveled if you don’t store it properly. Most mosquito nets come with rubber bands and carrying cases for storage. but you can buy one at most outdoors stores if yours does not.
