  3. The USB end is the wider piece of the end of the cable. Make sure it is securely connected before plugging the adapter into the wall outlet.
  4. This helps keep the stand secure and prevents it from shifting position. The bottom of the stand also has an optional mount, with two-hole openings located underneath the black plastic cover on the stand.
  5. Once connected there will be a blue and green light. The lights indicate “power on” connection and pairing mode.

  1. 1
Download the Blink app. Using a smartphone device, iPad, tablet, or computer. The app is located within the device’s App Store. The Blink app enables users to set up camera, connect the device to Wi-Fi, receive motion alerts, and view previously recorded or live video from the device.
  2. 2
Create an account. Creating an account is the only way to gain access to the camera system. Users will be able to access video anytime, anywhere.
  3. 3
Select the + to add device. Near the top right corner, select the green +. This allows users to choose and select the camera model type.
  4. 4
Select the camera model.  Find the blink mini wired camera model. Once selected a camera prompt will pop up asking to scan the device code.
  5. The QR code is located on the back of the camera right above the charging port. Using a Smartphone device, iPad or tablet take a picture of the code or enter it manually. If the code is input manually, enter the characters under the letters “DSN.”
  6.  This will be the name that appears for the camera in the Blink app. Labeling a new system helps organize the device by allowing users to group more cameras together, and arm or disarm the camera on a scheduled basis.
  7. The device is now in “pairing mode” ready to pair. If there are no blinking blue or steady green lights, then the camera system needs to be reset. Reset the system by detaching the stand from the camera, the reset button will be on the bottom of the camera in the position where the stand connects.
  8. Press “Join” and connect “Blink” to personal Wi-Fi network.
