Google supports a Street View feature where you can see real images of the actual location as if you’re really walking or driving down that path. The images are not real-time though; they were previously captured. All personal and specific references, such as faces or license plates, have been blurred to protect people’s privacy. If you found a certain image or view that you feel should be removed, like your own home, whether for privacy or security reasons, you can report it to Google for review, and possibly removal.
