This wikiHow teaches you how to prevent people you don't know from contacting you on Snapchat.

Things You Should Know

  • Navigate to the user screen by swiping down from the top of your screen.
  • Tap the gear icon, then tap "Contact Me."
  • Tap "My Friends" so only your friends on Snapchat can get in touch with you.

    • Enter your username and password if you're not automatically logged in.
  2. Doing so takes you to the user screen.

  5. It's in the upper-left corner. Now, only people who you've added as friends on Snapchat will be able to send you messages.
