  • Question

  • Question
Is there a way to increase the volume of voices while lowering the volume of the music in videos?
    Community Answer
The closest you'll be able to come will be to go to settings, then audio controls. Reduce the bass and treble. Raise the midrange. As most of the “voice” is in the midrange, you’ll get some effect of hearing the voices more clearly. Unfortunately any music in that same midrange will also be increased.
  • Question
When I start Alexa up I hear her response loud and clear, but when I ask her to play music I can barely hear the songs that are played. How can I adjust the volume for the music?
    Community Answer
Alexa, Volume 1 will give you the softest volume at 10%. Alexa, Volume 3 gives you a comfortable volume at 30%. Alexa, Volume 10 is as loud as your device will go at 100%. Try adjusting to whichever of those levels you can hear the music best at. If this doesn't work, perhaps return the device to the retailer and request they check it before deciding if you need a replacement.
