Double-check which end of the staple gun where the staples are supposed to come out of. On some tools, it's not always where you might think! The "legs" of the staple should always come out from the end.

Always load your staple gun with sections of full, joined staples. The gun is more likely to jam if you use small, broken bits of staples.

My three-in-one staple shoots out double staples. I'm thinking it may be spring fatigue. What can I do?

The punching end may be too large for the staples you are using. Try checking what size they should be and maybe try using thicker staples.
