How to Determine the Value of Your LEGO Minifigures

PDF download Download Article
  1. 1
Search for your minifigures on the internet to check prices. Check popular secondhand LEGO sites, like eBay and Bricklink , to see how much other people are charging for their versions of your minifigures. This will give you a ballpark figure for what yours are worth.
  2. 2
Check for damage like cracks and discoloration. Damaged LEGO minifigures are automatically worth less. If yours show any cracks, color fading, or paint rubbed off, their value is depreciated and you'll need to ask for less money if you try to sell them.
  3. 3
Check if they're still in their original packaging. If you managed to acquire a rare minifigure and resist taking it out of its packaging, your patience will be rewarded when you go to sell it. Sealed, mint minifigures are always worth more inside their box or blister pack than they are by themselves! [20]

Where to Find Rare LEGO Minifigures

PDF download Download Article
  1. 1
Buy or bid on them through eBay or BrickLink. On eBay, you can bid on rare LEGO minifigures as sellers post them to their shops or buy them now (for a much steeper price than you would at auction). BrickLink is another great site to check out, as it's the world's largest marketplace for used and new LEGO parts.
  2. 2
Go to garage sales and estate sales. Some people keep rare LEGOs around for years, never realizing their worth, and then decide to sell them at a cheap price to get them out of their house. Look at local newspaper ads or in Facebook Groups to find garage and estate sales, and you might get an amazing deal.
  3. 3
Check Craigslist and Facebook for people selling LEGOs in bulk. Rather than go through eBay or a garage sale, some people prefer advertising bulk LEGOs for sale on Craigslist or Facebook . Vet these sellers carefully before you meet them in-person. With luck, you'll find one or two rare minifigures in the lot to make it worth your while!
