- The best way to reset the Charge Essential is to hold the Bluetooth and Volume + buttons together. After resetting it, my speaker wouldn't turn back on at first, but when I plugged it in to a power source, it resumed as normal. It was charged before I did this, so I think plugging it in might be a necessary step.
