Do you want to save videos you make on Snapchat? You can change the default setting so Snaps automatically save to your Memories or Camera Roll. If you want to save other people's Snap videos, you can long-press them in the chat. To do this without them knowing, you'll need to use another device. Here's how to save Snapchat videos on iPhone, iPad, or Android.
Quick Steps
- Go to your Snapchat profile.
- Tap the cog icon.
- Tap Memories .
- Tap Save Button .
- Select Memories & Camera Roll .
Steps

Open Snapchat. The app will open to the camera if you're logged in.
- You can manually save your Snaps by tapping the down-arrow icon on the edit screen of your Snap. Use this method if you want your Snaps to automatically save to your Memories and/or Camera Roll .

Tap the cog icon. You can find this in the top-right corner.

Tap Memories . This will be under the My Account header.

Tap Save Button . You can find this under Save Destinations .

Select Memories & Camera Roll . If you'd rather have one or the other, select Memories or Camera Roll .
- Now, when you create a Snap, it will automatically be saved to this destination.

Open Snapchat. The app will open to the camera if you're logged in.

Navigate to a chat. Tap the Chat tab and tap an open Chat to view its contents.

Use another device to record or take a picture. This is the safest way to save a Snapchat video, but you'll need another device. Have the device ready to record when you open the Snap.

Use Airplane Mode . This method involves turning on Airplane Mode before viewing the Snap, and then turning it off again when you're finished. While viewing it, you can try to record .
