Mirror your screen on a Roku streaming device

You can project your phone or computer's screen to your Roku TV using Screen Mirroring. For iOS, you can also use AirPlay. You'll just need to connect to the same Wi-Fi network. Here's how to screen mirror Roku TV using an iPhone, iPad, Android, or Windows computer.

Casting Your Device to a Roku TV

If you want to cast an iPhone or Android to your Roku TV, connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network and tap the Screen Mirroring icon. For Windows, open your Display settings to connect to a wireless display. Select your Roku device.

Using iPhone or iPad

  1. Connect your Roku and iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network . This is how your Roku and iPhone or iPad will link together.
  2. Open the Control Center . Swipe down on the top-right corner of the screen. If you have a Home button, swipe up from the bottom.

  3. Tap Screen Mirroring . This is the two overlapping rectangles.
    • The full menu should open with a list of devices.
  4. If you don't see your Roku, make sure it's on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • You may be asked to enter an AirPlay passcode. Enter the code shown on your TV onto your iPhone or iPad. [1]

    • To stop screen mirroring, open the Control Center again. Tap Stop Screen Mirroring .

  3. It may also look like Cast or Smart View . You may need to swipe to the next page of apps to find it.
