Using Gatorade Pods
-
Open the latch of the lid and fill the bottle to the fill line. The lid of your Gatorade Gx Bottle has a latch to keep it in place during use. Pull on the latch to release it and lift the cap of the bottle back, revealing the pod piercer in the mouth of the bottle. Then, fill the bottle with plain water up to the fill line. - Or, unscrew the entire cap if you’d like to add ice to your bottle, then fill the bottle and replace the cap, opening the top half of the cap to reveal the pod piercer.
- The Gatorade Gx Bottle holds 30 fl oz (890 mL) of liquid.
-
Press a Gatorade Pod upside-down on the pod piercer to empty it. Position a Gatorade Pod upside-down on the pod piercer in the mouth of the bottle, so that the orange rim of the pod faces downward. Don’t remove the sticker on the pod. Then, firmly press the pod downward until the pod piercer pierces the Gatorade Pod, spilling its contents into the bottle. [2] X Research source
- Let the Pod completely drain into the bottle before you remove it.
