What is working as an F1 mechanic like?

  1. F1 teams spend up to 250 days a year travelling. This means you’ll be away from family, friends, and loved ones and spending many hours in planes and other transportation. [10]
    • Pre-season testing starts in February for F1 and the last race is at the end of November.
