A Marmite broth has a distinct meaty flavour perfect for warming your insides on a cold day. Alternatively, why not try drinking Marmite in your cocktails.
Ingredients
- Marmite
- Boiling water
- 45ml vodka
- 10ml lemon juice
- 60ml tomato juice
- 4 drops Tabasco
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Marmite
- A pinch of salt and pepper
Steps

Spoon marmite into a mug - about two thirds of a teaspoon will be sufficient. You can vary how much marmite you use depending on how much you can handle.

Pour the boiling water into the mug.

Stir the mixture until it becomes a light brown colour throughout.

Wait for the broth to cool before drinking
