i am a taurus and i am interested in a gemini, however i've heard these two signs may not go together. Is this true? I really like this person, so how can i make things work if we start to date, or is it a lost cause?

This combo can work if you’re willing to put a little work in! In terms of wooing a Taurus, they love food, money, and the finer things in life. Offer to cook them a nice meal or take them out to a fancy play—they’ll love it.

Taurus tends to be a little dull sometimes in my mind. They tend to be very practical and disinterested in adventure. So, I think Taurus needs to be with someone like a Scorpio. Taurus is about money. Scorpio is about passion. They make a good, dynamic duo where things are more balanced.

This is actually why I think Gemini and Taurus are a great combo. Geminis like to change their minds and mix things up, which can be really productive for Taurus in the long term. Your relationship might involve a little friction early on, but I actually think this is a phenomenal match.

Taurus is a “Fixed” sign; it’s the stubborn bull. It is hard to get a fixed bull to make a move unless it really wants to move. Taurus is a lazy sign, so you can’t play hard to get with them because they don’t want to run, they don’t want to jump through hoops or chase potential partners.

So, if you’re interested in Taurus it’s important that you’re patient and play the long game. This should be easy for you to overcome as a Gemini—the sign that knows adaptability the best. Find reasons to bring them things, or be helpful to them in some way to where they will need or want your help again. Taureans like eye candy and touch, so try not to get too emotional or too expressive too quickly because it may go over their head. In terms of compatibility, any sign can be with any sign so long as you’re aware of the things to look out for!

You heard this was a bad match?! I think it’s actually one of the more interesting and rewarding relationship combos out there. It might be kind of hard at first since Gemini and Taurus are both attracted to (and driven by) different things, so there can definitely be some hurdles to overcome in the early stages.

But once the fickle Gemini figures out what the Taurus’s boundaries are, this is a match made in heaven. Geminis need stability and honesty, and Taurus has that in spades. Taurus needs someone who can help them relax and enjoy new things, and Gemini is basically as free and whimsical as air signs can get.

You should 100% go for it, regardless of whether you two are the perfect match or not when it comes to the stars. But anyway, I think of this pairing as one of the most “mid” combos out there. It’s not perfect, but it’s not a disaster, either (looking at you, Cancer-Aries couples!).

Geminis are curious, expressive, intellectual, and social. They’re little bundles of raw energy. Taurus is one of the laziest signs in my experience, so the two don’t really click on that axis. But, if they can develop a good middle ground when it comes to energy and outgoingness, these two signs can really bring the best out in one another. Tauruses could use a good kick in the booty to get them moving every now and then and Geminis aren’t always the most practical people out there, so these signs can be very complementary!

Gemini here. I can’t think of a more frustrating partner for me than a Taurus. I’m one of those go-getter types and I really don’t like sitting around. Every Taurus I know just wants to go to dinner and watch a movie in their free time. I need dancing! Parties! Things to do! I’m also not all that kinky when it comes to the bedroom to be honest, and Taurus signs seem to always want to explore when they’re getting frisky. It might be a good pairing for you, but it’s not for me.

So that's so interesting to me because as a Gemini I find I am always looking for something new when it comes to sex but my Taurus ex had trouble getting out of his routine. I got so bored lol. End of relationship.

I am a Taurus and I've been with a Gemini for a while now, and I actually really appreciate how much she's gotten me out of my shell. I have a tendency to fall back on my old ways and not try anything new, but she likes trying new things, which means that I end up trying new things and having more fun. It's been great! I think we really balance each other.

Gemini and Taurus aren't super compatible in my experience. The Gemini is always wanting to have new experiences and be adventurous, but a Taurus is not always up for that. If they are both able to be more flexible, they can find a compromise maybe but I think it's just not a good match.

As a Gemini woman, I find I can be kind of flighty and impulsive, but my Taurus boyfriend has helped me be a little more grounded. I like to think I've helped him try new things and be more exciting.

Like this article says, it's a hard match, but with lots of open communication and willingness to compromise, you can make the pair work. Just be patient and try not too be too stubborn!

In the bedroom, Geminis are pretty open to trying new things and they can get bored quickly. This could be a problem for the average Taurus, who may struggle to break out of their routine, but it's one of the best ways I know to get a Gemini interested in you and convince them to stick around!

Try to do something unexpected. Geminis need new experiences and like to have fun, and they will get bored of you if you're predictable. Ask them on a date to try something new or do something weird, like skydiving or ghost hunting. They'll remember you!
