Using Mobile

Open the Facebook app on your phone or tablet. The Facebook icon looks like a white "f" on a blue background. Tap the Facebook icon to open the Facebook app.

4Tap See profile picture . This displays your profile picture in full-screen mode.
- If you want to see all of your profile pictures, tap Photos on your profile page, followed by Profile Pictures . This displays all of your profile pictures. You can edit the privacy settings for each image individually..

Tap the icon with three dots â‹® . It’s in the upper-right corner of the image. It will open a pop-up menu with all your picture options.

Tap Edit Privacy on the menu. This will open your privacy options on a new page.

7Select a privacy option. You have a few options you can select if you want to hide your profile picture. The following are some of the options you can choose:
- Only me: This completely hides your profile picture and makes it so that only you can see your profile picture.
- Friends: This makes it so that only your Facebook friends can see your profile picture.
- Close friends: This makes it so that only people on your close friends list can see your profile picture.
- Friends except: This allows your friends to see your profile picture, but allows you to select which friends can’t see your profile picture.
- Specific friends: This allows you to select which friends can see your profile picture.

8Tap Save . It’s the blue button at the bottom of the page. This saves your privacy settings and hides your Facebook profile picture from those you don’t want to see.

Using a Computer

Open Facebook in your internet browser. If you are using a PC or Mac, you can adjust your Facebook profile settings using a web browser. Type facebook.com into the address bar at the top of your web browser.
- If you're not automatically signed in, enter your email or phone, and your password into the login form on the top-right, and click Log In .

2Click your profile picture or name on the top-left. Find your name and profile picture at the top of the left navigation menu, and click on it. This will open your profile page.
- You can also click your name on the top-right followed by your username. Alternatively, you can click your profile picture next to the “What’s on your mind” text box. These will also open your profile page.

3Click your profile image. It’s the large circular image at the top of your page. This displays a drop-down menu.

4Click See profile picture . It’s in the drop-down menu that appears when you click your profile picture on your profile page.
- To view all of your profile pictures, click Photos, followed by Albums, followed by Profile Pictures . You can edit the privacy settings for each profile picture individually.

5Click the icon with three dots ••• . It’s next to your name at the top of the panel to the right. This displays a drop-down menu.

6Click Edit audience . This allows you to adjust the privacy settings for your profile picture.

7Select a privacy setting. You have a few options you can select if you want to hide your profile picture. The following are some of the options you can choose:
- Only me: This completely hides your profile picture and makes it so that only you can see your profile picture.
- Friends: This makes it so that only your Facebook friends can see your profile picture.
