Can I put a second-hand door onto an existing frame?

Yes, I actually have one like that now. Just be aware of where all of the holes and hinges line up. In most cases, you can just make new holes and places for the hinges, but sometimes it's better (and easier) to just get a different (not necessarily new) door.

What if I have lost the key?

Unless you're skilled enough to pick the lock or are willing to damage the door by forcefully removing it, there is no other way to remove a cylinder keyhole even if the door is unlocked because it's resting position is purposefully made to prevent removal without a key. Call a locksmith.

What do I do if my UPVC door handle is coming loose?

Is it the inside or outside? Is it only the handle or is it the handle plus its (decorative) surrounds? If it is only the handle which is loose, you might need to replace both handles as one or both of the springs might be worn. If the entire handle + the plate are loose, then that is not so bad: In most cases, the decorative handle and its cover on the innermost side needs to be removed and then you should see a plate which - along with two long screws - actually secures the outer handle and its surround-in-place. Tighten these two screws and the outer components will stop moving, as they are held in place against the door by this inner plate and its screws.
