That was my 3rd attempt to post a Thank you message to BR for his thumb ups, but all I got was “Error: found spam link”. Huh??? I hope it’s not my PC. I am too lazy to supply an image here. But it says exactly how I spelled above. Anybody else got this error message tonight? @BR , if you read it you know why you don’t see a Thank you on your talkpage from me. If this is not a bug please move to another forum. I suppose it IS a bug.

@Laura7491 This is down to a link on his page that was posted and then later blacklisted for spamming. The spam warning error shows up on the page when you edit it (even to add a new message), until that link is removed. I’ve removed the link and now you’re good to go!:slight_smile:

@Anna … I have never seen this error thingy on anybody’s talkpage incl. Bob’s. LOL Why do you have to use it on Bob’s page? Someone spammed it before? OK, I’ll post a “Thanks You” now.:slight_smile:Thank you Anna.:slight_smile:

The error appears on anyone’s page if there’s a spam link on it- it’s not exclusive to Bob’s:slight_smile:Once the link is removed, no more error- so it’s all good! Thanks for the heads-up!

It wasn’t your message, Laura- it was in the page before. Someone else had posted a link on his page at some point, in a previous message; then that link had been marked as spam on the blacklist. This meant that any subsequent changes to his page triggered the spam message (because of the link that was already there). I know, it’s confusing! But it’s been fixed now- if you see it again, you can let me know and I’ll find the bad link and remove it. Thanks!
