During my family’s holidays, we celebrate Christmas which we call Weihnachten. It’s a German tradition to fill stockings on the sixth of December, go to the Christmas Markets (Weihnachtsmarkt), and eat potato salads and roast ham for Christmas dinner! What’s your holiday tradition?

Mmm, now you have me craving roast ham!

We also gotta celebrate christmas

Christmas is a very special day for me. I look forward to Christmas even before any other celebration starts in the beginning of the year. Our Christmas tradition gets combined with a birthday at home. So we have a tree well decorated and have a birthday cake and yum evening snacks and then dinner at home. Our Church members visit with someone dressed as Santa, we all sing, pray, eat and then they leave. We may not have Church because of the lockdown. However my heart is with Yehoshua all along.

This time of year, I celebrate Easter.

We celebrate Ramzan Eid that day we are making delicious food in home including sheerqurma and sweets some relatives may have come to home and enjoying the Eid day after Eid namaz.

We celebrate Adoption Day/Gotcha Day with my siblings. Since we’re adopted, our family celebrates our uniqueness with a special day.
My mom and Dad also have a German heritage, @Divinia , and so often nearer to Christmas time we have roll-cooking and watermelon. For New Years, we also do New Year’s cookies - eating them far away from our dogs!
