Figured I’d build off @SarahB ’s lovely well wishes  and, in true wikiHow tradition, start a thread for this year’s community meetup.

I had a fortunately uneventful flight into MSP this afternoon… but I did spend about 90 minutes waiting for my luggage for no apparent reason. Hopefully I’ve taken one for the team there, so that eeeeeveryone else’s trip can be total smooth sailing. Fingers crossed, 'cause @Byankno1 took one for the team last year, with some gnarly delays… Here’s to better this year!:slight_smile:

Our wikiHaus for the weekend is the Graduate Minneapolis hotel, which has a nice geeky academic theme. I’m considering wearing this wall decor for the rest of the weekend:

Now I’m going to catch some Zzzzs so that I can ready for you early birds tomorrow. Can’t wait to see folks soon!

I arrive around 2-3ish tomorrow, so not exactly an earlybird:wink:The meetup always gets me anticipating, counting down, getting jittery and impatient (out of excitement, so in a good way) and always waiting to come back for more when I take a break from the group. I missed so much last year, I am so glad I’m taking a daytime flight this time! The red-eye ruined it a little for me last year. 

To @UpsandDowns1234 and everyone else, we hope you have an opportunity to attend one of these in the future! I assure you, these will be some of the best memories of your life!

@Adelaide if only they were in my hometown (San Francisco).  Then it would be easier to meet up (for me, at least).

I’ll be there bright and early so I should be there to greet everyone with @Anna (barring any complications)- Look forward to seeing everyone shortly! 

I won’t be checking any bags so hopefully won’t run into any problems since Anna bit the bullet for us.

Woof, alarm just went off… time to get myself up and head to the airport. Hopefully I’m not half asleep all day! See all the morning birds in about 4 hours!

@ WF I guess that will be either Krystle or Lois! That breakfast was delishhhhh, lots of scrambled eggs and amazing bacon.

Anna’s room look comfortable and the best place for some nice Zzzleep. I hear some mature stuff people:smiley::3 Have fun everyone.:slight_smile:I hope John Cena is around this time too ;D
