Is there a way to edit a discussion thread, or am I going to have to control my need to hit the post button so quickly?
You can click “edit” at the top of the discussion page, scroll to the bottom (or wherever your comment is) and remove the chunk of text - so using my talkpage as an example…
you would delete the content within the purple mark. This will only remove it from the page, people can still see the content in the History. And of course it’s always wise to think before posting comments
