In case we need to shut down our computers to do something else while working on an article, there needs to be an “save draft” button. Or else, you’ll have to rewrite the article. It’s annoying.

wikiHow has an “save draft” feature already. However, when you scroll down the page until you see the publish button, you’ll see other buttons on the right; one of them should say “Save draft”.  This is a save edit feature without publishing the edit. When you are ready to return to the edit, head to http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Drafts page, click on the Edit button and continue where you left off. Hopefully that should answer your annoyance.

You can always save your work in a word processing program, such as Notepad or Word. Then it can be on your hard drive and won’t affect what you do online.
