http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Nominate-an-Article-for-Deletion-in-wikiHow&diff=6764426&oldid=6732551 The nfd tags were all inside nowiki tags except for {{NFDreasons}} which isn’t an nfd template at all.

I think it’s doing that because all the templates had the NFD text in them. Has it removed any other kinds of templates? If it only attacks these templates this might be one of the very few cases where this will happen.

Haven’t seen it elsewhere, but there aren’t many pages that could be affected by this bug. I’ve tried to flag down the script with an edit to [[Review a NFD List for Final Outcome]] which mentions (but does not use) nfd tags, both with nowiki tags and as {{temp|nfd}}. This may generate another data point. If it does show up in the NFD voter tool, vote to keep it - I’ll be watching:slight_smile:

Update: Votes are in and it got that one too. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Review-a-NFD-List-for-Final-Outcome&diff=6798532&oldid=6767306 {{temp|nfd}} is safe though, so using that instead of the nowiki method is a workaround. “Nominate an Article for Deletion” is still showing in NFDAdvanced due to {{NFDreasons}}.
