I wish categories allowed lower case letters.

For example: 
https://www.wikihow.com/Category:WikiHow and 
https://www.wikihow.com/Category:Ipad

Not an urgent item, just a small improvement that would allow consistency to our readers and users.

Agreed. I’m sure the engineers could work something out. After all, they built upon MediaWiki by making all the Community Dashboard tools.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that in the past 6 years too, but knowing that all categories start with a capital letter also makes sense too. Seems just to be an inconvenience but something for the engineers to keep in mind if they ever find the time to look into a potential good solution.
