Since this afternoon (EST) I’ve noticed a problem where Howcast videos aren’t displayed within articles:

I’ve been writing a lot of articles from the Howcast Article Creation Project, so these are essential:slight_smile:It’s accompanied by an “unavailable” message too; see image.

Sorry about this @Progressive . We were seeing Javascript errors on all pages with Howcast videos in all MSIE browsers before we temporarily removed them. We have also been dealing with some other major site issues and had to rule this particular problem out. Bear with us and we will re-instate all Howcast videos again very soon, after their Javascript errors in MSIE are fixed. Reuben

Bumping - looks like this has been fixed; the Howcast videos are showing up normally again. Thanks!

Going to bump this – I noticed this is happening again, in the same fashion. I’m seeing it on Google Chrome (latest version), Windows 7 if it helps.

Thanks for pointing this out @Progressive . There are some more javascript errors that have popped up with certain IE browsers with Howcast videos. As a result we’ve temporarily taken them down. We’re working on resolving the problem as soon as possible.
