Formerly having frequented wikiHow from 2009 to 2012, I recently made a spur-of-the-moment decision to return tonight from my extended hiatus. Becoming (marginally) more mature over the years has made me more focused upon job-finding, so in the context of my return to wikiHow, a question for the admins of wikiHow came to mind:
Is wikiHow currently seeking/accepting interns, particularly remotely-based interns?
Considering my history with this very website, I fell in love with it and its collaborative nature, which is why I believe a remote internship to be a fulfilling way to heighten my ability to potentially make valuable contributions towards wikiHow. I have already begun preparing an open cover letter in preparation for such an opportunity, and I decided to revisit the forums and post this as a convenient way to inquire if such an opportunity exists.

Welcome back! We do have internships but they’re local, here at the wikiHaus in Palo Alto, California, generally for a handful of college upperclassmen and graduate students over the summer break. I’m not sure if we’re still accepting applications for next summer, but I’d be happy to pass on your resume and cover letter if you’re able to be in this area and are at the right stage of your student career. Shoot me an email at anna@wikihow.com
if that all applies and I can find out if we’re still accepting applications for you
