You know the ‘Random Article’ button? Yesterday, I wanted to edit an article, so I clicked on it. However, for some reason I forgot that it would show me an article selected from the entire site - normally I edit within the Pets & Animals category, and when I got an article from a different category, I gave up on it. My idea is to have a Random Article button within
the categories and sub-categories. This would be helpful to a) editors like me who want to improve a random article in a specific category and b) someone who wanted to learn more on a specific subject (such as cats) but not a subject specific enough to search for a certain article (such as “How to Purchase a Cat”). Thoughts? Or do we already have something like this?

Kind of, but the button wouldn’t just be for editing.
This is kind of like the “Edit by Topic” feature which was recently introduced.
