**PART 2**
Hello everyone,
I’ve made a goal to revamp these two categories now that Latex is running smoothly again (the code that gives you beautiful-looking equations). While browsing through these categories, I noticed a lot of articles were miscategorized, could be better placed in more specific categories, or would benefit from new ones. So here are my suggestions.
Within the category of Physics:
Create categories:

The first four should be obvious. The last two - there are few articles on these topics, but I’m writing articles on relativity, and I expect quantum mechanics to gradually flourish as well. Worth adding, since this really is the spooky part of physics.
Finally, some articles in the Physics category are really applications of physics, like building a mousetrap vehicle, drawing electrical schematics, etc. so they should be recategorized elsewhere.

We ended up talking a bit more about this one on our talk pages but I want to keep a record and keep everyone else looped in so I’m adding the progress here:
For now, we’ve created
https://www.wikihow.com/Category:Classical-Mechanics
and
https://www.wikihow.com/Category:Electromagnetism
– the two broadest of the potential categories. Since the others are smaller and we’re still noodling on how to tackle categories as a whole (without growing the category tree eternally outwards), I’ll do as you suggested and hold on the rest now. I’ll close this thread but we can loop back to all this once we have a better idea of where categories as a whole are going, and once those potential category areas grow some more.
