As one can see, the Vanilla forums don’t have statistics that tell who’s online or not. So, I thought I’d create a thread to tell the statistics instead. Here’s how it works: If you want to participate, just make a single post in the following format: YOUR NAME: Online/Offline Also, could an admin please make this thread an “announcement”, so it shows up at the top of the GC page?When you’re online, edit your post to indicate you’re online. When you’re offline, edit your post to indicate you’re offline. Now of course you don’t have to change your status every single time you come online, and please don’t be pressured to do so. I also suggest that admins add the title “admin” before their name so this thread could be a reference to users who need assistance. Here’s mine: WikiRicardo: Offline

I flit on and offline all the time so it wouldn’t be viable for me to have a status here. I am more than likely always online and if I see I have a talkpage message (yay toolbar), I’ll come give it a look
I also don’t see why this would make a viable announcement.
Specifically for forums. This is more for our forum-geared users.

If a new user needs help with something, and doesn’t quite know who the admins are (let alone who’s online and available to help), they could easily come here. Now, I also suggest to admins who don’t want this to be a whole social sort of thing that they make their status online only when they’re online and available to help.
