Whoop whoop! I’m pretty excited about this venue - I’ve been talking to one of the staff members there for several weeks now, and I think it’ll be a good vibe for us. Plus, I kind of love that it’s on the university campus… they describe the hotel as “geek-chic”, and I’d say we’re a bunch of chic geeks, so it’ll prob work out quite well
Also stoked there’s lots of interest here! I’m going to tag everyone who came to the meetup this year and a few that I know have expressed interest in the general idea…

If you’re not tagged, though, that doesn’t mean a thing! As Jack said, just stay involved/active with the site/community, and keep your eyes on the forums for updates in the new year.
Oh, and I’ve made a few updates to https://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Meetups
to get the ball rolling… we won’t get to real event planning until probably early 2018, buuuut in the meantime, if anyone knows the area well (cough * @Eric
* cough) or wants to do any travel research for field trip/activity ideas, that’s a great place to put info/links/etc so we can come back to them in due course.
