How do you build an astrology consultation business?
Astrology has a stigma, so building credibility is key. You need to meet people where they are—give them information that hooks them and shows them you know what you’re talking about. For me, I'll often post “hot takes” online—random but insightful thoughts about signs or trends I noticed. People would read them, resonate, and start following me. Over time, they’d think, “Wow, she really knows her stuff—I should get a reading.” Giving people a taste of your perspective is really important. Free content helps build that bridge, whether it's YouTube videos or social media posts. For example, I do pick-a-card tarot readings on YouTube. They’re not personalized, but they still resonate with people. And when they do, people want to go deeper and book a session. When I give out a little info, I remind people, “This is just general. The real magic is in your individual chart.” That little teaser gets them thinking, “Wait, what’s in my chart?”
How do you use astrology in daily planning?
There are a couple different ways to incorporate astrology into daily planning that I’ve found helpful. One of the simplest is being aware of general transits—like when Mercury is in retrograde. That’s always good to know so you’re not surprised when your car breaks down or your phone stops working. I find the moon phases to be especially useful. Full moons bring things to a peak—energy is heightened, things are blooming, and chaos can occur. New moons, on the other hand, are a time to turn inward, reflect, and set intentions.

Finally, each day of the week is ruled by a different planet:

Monday – the Moon
Tuesday – Mars
Wednesday – Mercury
Thursday – Jupiter
Friday – Venus
Saturday – Saturn
Sunday – the Sun

I love using that as a guide for how to approach each day, and it really works for me. For example, Mondays are ruled by the Moon—associated with emotions—so it's a good day to stay home, work on creative or emotional projects, and recharge. That’s why people always say they have “a case of the Mondays.” Tuesday, ruled by Mars, is more action-oriented—it’s a great day to work out or initiate things. The energies just line up when you pay attention to them, and then you can align your activities and mindset with that energy.
What is chiron in astrology?
Chiron is known as the “wounded healer.” It’s an asteroid that represents where you’ve been deeply hurt, but also where you can help others heal. It points to emotional wounds, trauma, and soft spots—but also your unique ability to be empathetic and wise in that area. For example, I have Chiron in Scorpio in the Third House, so I’m very sensitive to communication and subtle vibes in conversations. It helps me be perceptive, but it's also an area of pain I had to work through. Everyone has a Chiron, and it reveals both a wound and a healing gift? It shows where you’ve been hurt, but also where you have special insight and healing energy.
What is the 7th house in astrology?
The Seventh House rules partnerships—romantic, contractual, and even open enemies. It’s opposite to the First House, which is all about the self. So the Seventh House represents the “shadow self”—the parts of you reflected back through others. Planets in your Seventh House show how you relate in one-on-one relationships and the kinds of dynamics or challenges you face. It’s also where you find themes around marriage and best friendships. You often reveal vulnerable parts of yourself to Seventh House people.
Libra Sun with Libra Rising: What does it mean?
Your rising sign is like the lens through which you view life—it shows how you initiate things. Your sun represents your vitality and core identity. So if you have both as Libra, especially if the sun is in the 1st house, it amplifies that Libra energy. It creates a strong sense of calling or clarity in where you belong and how you’re meant to help. In Libra, that might look like naturally wanting to balance things, bring peace, or even having a refined aesthetic—like always having the right outfit. It draws you toward harmony.
