I did all the steps in part 1 but no window asking me to register appeared, and I can't seem to access Gsnap. Any ideas?

You may need to go to Effect | Add / Remove Plug-ins first. When you're in there you can find it (to enable it) by checking "New" or "Disabled" with the filter on the top right.

G-Snap didn't show up. I went to enable it and it says it's enabled, but then when I go to Effect menu it's not there. Then in the enable/disable menu it says it's disabled again. What can I do?

If you downloaded the 64-bit version, uninstall it and download the 32-bit version of G-Snap instead. Then try enabling it again.

Launch Audacity. Click "Edit" and select "Preferences." Click "Effects," then check the box next to "Rescan VST effects next time Audacity is started." Audacity now scans for new plug-ins when you start it. Click "OK" and close Audacity. Re-launch Audacity. The program scans the plug-ins directory for the newly installed GSnap plug-in.
